I am a single mom whom works full time, I used to be able to work out everyday while my daughter was atschool?

Question:
I am cant find the time to get to the gym anymore. I feel terrible dragging my daughter to the gym after a day at daycare. what should I do? How can I fit in working out with working and taking care of my daughter

Answers:
It seems that some very good suggestions have been given to you. so I won't say much more except this. You are pretty important to your daughter and her well being. Right? and you are very important to you ( I can tell or you would not have even asked the question) Then what ever you have to do-MAKE TIME. you make time for work, shopping, cleaning etc. so for your daughter's sake ( staying healthy) and your sake ( you deserve the best) do what need to be done. God Bless

I'm having the exact same problem. Let me know if you find a solution..

me 3 Find a gym that you can leave your daughter at while you workout. She become more socialized and that's not a bad thing.

Buy a treadmill, or some other workout equipments to use at home.

how about taking her on walks with you for about 20 mins aday

If she is walking go for a walk together. If she is not then put her in a jogging stroller and go for a nice jog. can you extend daycare for an hour? My gym has daycare, and they actually do fun stuff with them. Try asking her if she likes it or not. She might surprise you, and say that she likes to go!

Try working out at lunch. Join a Gym close to work. Go in a bit early to work or leave a little later, so that you can have some extra time to workout at lunch. But then you know your schedule better, this is just a suggestion.

Most fitness centers have babysitting services at the facility.

Get a teenager to babysit in the evenings 3 nights a week and go work out for a couple of hours.

Exercise with your daughter around the house and neighborhood.
bike, swim, run with her, dance with her, walk with her. teach her calisthenics (push ups, sit-ups.. etc.) make it fun! how many can you din in an alotted amount of time. try to improve over one month, two months. etc. This bonding will also teach her healthy, active lifestyle as she grows into adulthood.
best of luck
