Is it possible to have a decent workout without using weights?

Question:
Right now I do not have a weight set. I am fourteen and I am basically doing pull-ups, push-ups, and crunches. I am noticing small results and all I want is to look good for the start of my ninth grade year.

Answers:
you're doing the right thing, besides, I'm assuming your about 14 so it might not be a really good idea to hit the weights too much at your age. Doesn't your school have a gym? When you get to high school you'll probably have one, anyway, take it easy, don't overdo it because its really easy to do irreperable damage, get someone who knows what they're talking about, not you're friend who can bench 450, but someone with the science to back up what they're saying like your gym teacher or a trainer if you can find one. For now though, stick to the push ups and pull ups and get something together so you can do dips, those give you nice triceps, don't forget you're legs, it always looks funny when you see guys with huge upper bodies finally wear shorts to the gym to reveal they have the legs of a chicken. For that you can do lunges, sprints, and squats. When you do start lifting, find out the proper way to do your exercises first, I can't tell you how many 19 year olds I've seen that have abnormal musculature from doing the same wrong movements during an excersise for 4 years. Its always better to use less weight and do it right.
