does eating fast make you fat?
Question:
Answers:
a lot of the time cause you eat so much so fast your stomach takes a while to realize the huge amount youve eaten, so you still think youre not full and ultimatly eat more
Other Answers:
Probably. You will eat more if you eat fast. You aren't giving yourself time to feel satisfied.
Do you eat fast and then stop? Then youre fine . but if the fast eatting helps you eat more, then you'll get fat. No. However, if you eat fast you may not be able to digest your food as quickly as someone who eats slower. Also, you may not concentrate on how many calories you are consuming.
It does. but not entirely.. sometimes it depends on the kind of metabolism you have.
You'd better believe it does!
NO IT DOES NOT . how fast you eat doesn't effect how fat you will get Yes, because it take a while for your body to feel full. There is like a 10 minute delay. So slow down and enjoy your food. That's why people who have wine with their meal loose weight even those wine has calories. Because they eat slow and enjoy their food. And wine doesn't taste good with deep fried foods.
first it causes you stomach problems, because you dont chew the food
presuntion is wrong--scientific investigation beguning---yu not geting any more weight-cosumpiont of stomach will be same-be happy ans laugh
No, that just might give you the hiccups. What makes you gain weight is the food you eat and when you eat it. Like if you ate a McDonalds Big Mac as a snack in between lunch and dinner, than that would be fattening. The more calories a food item has, the more calories you get, and there is a average number of calories a person is supposed to eat in one day. It's different for girls and boys. I think the number of calories for boys' is 2800, and the for girls' it's 2200. I took a health class about this, but I can't remember all I've heard. Yes, it can contribute to it. When we eat your body breaks down the calories into glycogen, which has limited storage sites in the muscles and liver, these stores fill up & your body converts the rest to fast. The faster and the larger the meals you eat the more likely these stores will fill up before the glycogen can be used as energy output. This is why you want not only to eat slowly but to eat several small meals a day as this not only will speed up your metabolism, but it also is less likely you will fill up the glycogen storage sites causing you to gain excess weight.
