I am too. Put aside 30 minutes in your day ! anytime with the least amount of distractions. Mine is after the kids are in bed.
between 8 and 9 I use 30 minutes to do a workout tape.
I pick them up all the time. Leslie Sansone and Kathy smith are my favs. But you can try and see which ones you like better. You have time its 30 minutes .I try to stick to buying only 30 minute tapes. That way I can't come up with excuses that I don't have the time. You can even find shorter ones, if you are really stuck for time. Good Luck! This is for you!

Right after work is the best time or if possible at lunch.

When I was married, I ran into the rut of coming home and just getting comfortable with my wife. I got rid of cable t.v. and since have never found myself vegging out in the evenings. It takes discipline but is completely worth it. Trust me, I don't miss cable AT ALL! there really isn't anything on tv that you actually need in order to go about a happy life. Give it a shot, what do you have to lose accept weight? I have a terrific book called "Walk Yourself Thin" which gives ways to improve walking and daily tasks to lose weight. You might want to check that out..

I know this is not what you want to hear, but probably the best time is to get up before everyone else. After a week or two.you get used to the hours. In fact, your body naturally craves the workout and you will be popping out of bed before you know it. If not.grab an hour when they are at school or taking a nap (depending on the age).

I know what you are saying. I am a mom myself. I add waits to my wrists and ankles while I am doing my house work. I also use my daughter for leg waits will doing exercises. for crunches I have her stand by my feet and I give her a kiss with each one.

Throw the kids in a wagon, or put them on bikes and take a walk with them as a family in the evenings and weekends. i suggest after work or during lunch. OR, (this might make the kids a little upset) but on your day off then instead of being with them you can workout, not all day long, just a little bit and then you'll have kid time. also, you can get a babysitter and have "me time" you could workout then if you want, i know lots of people out there love babysitting so this won't be hard.

Oh, and if the gym near you has a pool or a childrens class then send the kids there, maybe if they're too young then send them with a babysitter to the pool, so during that you can have workout time.

oh oh oh! i have another idea, you could buy your own equiptment and you wouldn't even have to leave the house.

if you work than you can walk around during your lunch brake and just eat during work, but make sure that you set aside portions and only eat those protions! if you dont work, you could take your family to a local pool and swim with the kids or go for a bike ride or walk with them! Best of luck,
Lauren

anytime..carrying a baby is exercise..carrying in grocery bags is exercise..squats in the shower while your washing your hair.anything while watch tv set up a stationary bike, rower, bowflew whatever you got. This is a tough question because I'm assuming you dont have much time for yourself. Maybe before work while the kids are still sleeping, you could walk around the neighborhood with a friend. You guys can catch up and exercise. And if you have a dog, you could even walk it then. Or if thats too early you could take a walk during your lunchbreak. Or do your kids go to a class or lesson every week? Maybe you could drop them off and then hit a gym-you could even join a class which is fun but still helps you get in shape. Also, whenever possible, try parking your car just a little further in the back of the parking lot, walking really adds up.

Go for a walk on your lunch break, take the stairs instead of the elevator. Take a walk to the park with your kids after dinner at least 2X a week, that will help them and you unwind and tire the kids out playing and running around in the park while you sit and watch. That way, it will be easy for them to go to sleep, and give you your needed exercise as well. Good luck and good health to you.
