If You're?

Question:
If you are on a diet what food's should u eat and not eat?

Answers:
Drink lots of water, eat lots of fresh fruit and veggies. Meat is fine. Eat baked fish and meat whenever possible, and try to eat small meals like 4 or 5 times a day. When you starve your self your body goes into starvation mode and holds on to every calorie which makes it harder to lose weight. And I always allow myself one day of amnesty! I eat whatever I want on that day!

Other Answers:
Healthy food, and garbage-type foods respectively.

Use common sence. Eat whole foods, veggies and whole grains. Stay away from refined sugar like soda, candy and other garbage. You will also need to exercise daily. No saturated fat, no white starches. Eat mostly fresh food

obviously don't eat a lot of foods high in sugar, fat, & the bad carbs. other than that just heat healthy foods, look on the food pyrimid.

anything that is naturally colorful. NOTHING artificial or processed. THE LONGER it can stay on your shelf the worse it is and the more processesed it is.

um. more veggies/fruit with colors have more nutrients. fact. WHITE BREAD?NO. be prejudice to color when eating. WHEAT bread. the colored stuff. NO ENRICHED NO FORTIFIED food or drnks. these are not natural form of food/drinks too.

Use common sense. If you totally restrict certain foods, you're setting yourself up for failure. Decrease sweet and fatty foods, but don't cut them out completely. All things in moderation. But you have to exercise too, or you can lose all the weight in the world and you'll have excess skin. I'm on a diet and I just had a milkshake! Oops! Just eat what you want, but less, and pick healthy foods. If I see another salad I am going to go out of my mind.

I'm a firm believer that all foods are acceptable in moderation, with larger serving sized being allowed for fruits and veggies and the like, and smaller ones for "junk". It's okay to splurge sometimes, just make sure you watch it. The easiest thing to do is figure out what your ideal caloric intake for a day is, and then just keep track of whatever you eat in a day.

You should eat things that do not have any sugar, low carbs, and hardly any fat. The reason why is sugar gets used as energy and the rest of the sugar that does not get used as energy gets stored as fat, carbs get turned into fat, and fat is just fat. You should eat plenty of veggies, they will help you prevent yourself from getting cancer, it methylates your histones holding your DNA in your cells. This is the kind of diet that I use and it works. Once every week I eat some fruit just to get the things that they offer, then I go back to the diet. I used to weigh 210lbs, now I weigh 183lbs. And all I do is cardio, pushups, and crunches. Try it, it works. I am a doctor student this is how I learned about this.
