when i work out and sweat a lot, some areas on my body feel cool..why is that?
Question:
Answers:
I could think of some reasons, first, that's the main purpose of the sweat, keep cool your body inside and outside, second, the fatter areas you mention have layers of fat over the muscles, those doesn't get hot with the workout, only the muscles, and third, it has something to do with the thermal changes inside and outside the body and the balance in temperatures.
And as they say above, your sweat is evaporating and when some liquid evaporates in the surfece it leaves the temperature drops.
Other Answers:
your sweat is evaporating and pulling the heat away from your body, which is the purpose of sweating.just to do that.cool you off
Sweating is your body's way of cooling itself off. That's why the areas that sweat the most feel the coolest. Its the air hitting the sweat.
