what is the difference in nutrition between salmon and wild salmon?

Question:

Answers:
Farmed salmon is contaminated with chemicals, hormones, pesticides, fish poop (they swim in nasty water), and mercury and some wild salmon can be contaminated by mercury. Wild salmon also has a lot more omega-3 fatty acids because they get lots of exercise in cold water. Alaskan wild salmon is supposedly a pretty safe source. you can check out Vital Choice salmon - they actually check and promise that their fish is mercury free.

Other Answers:
I think the only difference is that wild salmon may have traces of mercury in it.
I'd stay away from fish farmed salmon..they give the fish meds to keep them healthy, also how can a animal that is meant to be in the wild as healthy as a penned animal?
