Question:
i am obese. i have decided to change my life around and lead a healthy life style. i estimate that i need to loose 250 pounds to hit my goal-weight.
1. i've started 30 minutes of cardio a day
2. the only beverage i drink, is 1 gallon of water per day
3. i eat fresh food - nothing processed
4. i eat small, snack-sized meals every 2 hours - until 4 hours before bed
5. i take a multi-vitamin

is there anything else i can do to improve my quality of life? has anyone else lost over 200 pounds? how long did it take you? what were the changes you made in your life?

You’ve made a good choice and you are starting out perfect. A man by the name of Warren Buffet said “There seems to be some perverse human characteristic that likes to make easy things difficult.” Another man by the name of Alan Jackson said something like this “Everything I love is killing me Cigarettes, Jack Daniels and Caffeine Everything I love I am gonna have to give up cause everything I love is killing me.”

That is not confined to whisky and cigarettes because if it’s got hostess written somewhere on it. I love it! I am a personal trainer been a personal trainer for four years I don’t have a weight problem I am in good shape. But when Little Debbie calls my name it’s hard! And sometimes I go running. You might mess up! You will probably mess up!

When you fail this is what separates the winners from the losers. Loser wallow and winners get up and keep trucking! That’s what you must do!

You are on the right track; you keep doing what you are doing! If you stick to your plan you’re going to get to your goal guaranteed! Another problem you will encounter is discouragement. You will get a wide variety of people telling you that you can’t do it. The bottom line is you can do it. You can’t let anyone else deter you from your goal! No one! I suggest you get a buddy or a surround yourself with people that are positive.
Someone who will lift you up when you fall down rather than wipe there feet on you.

The only other thing that I would do is get on a good probiotic right off hand I don’t know where you can get one. What a probotic does is put good bacteria back in your stomach that is lost when we eat bad or we are sick and on antibiotics. They aid in digestion speed your metabolism.

Your question what else could i do? STAY FOCUSED!!!!!!! AND DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON STUPID PRODUCTS THAT PROMISE QUICK RESULTS WITH NO EFFORT!

Definately stick with what you're doing. Very good start and congrats on the life change!! The only thing to change is the amount of and intensity of the cardio you do...the rest of the list is perfect. As the weight comes off the cardio will become easier so you have to increase the intensity and not slow down. Just remember to take the vitamin at night. You eat throughout the day and gets what you need from your food but its a long stretch from dinner to breakfast so that's where the vitamin comes in play. Good luck!!
It took my sister who is now 35 to lose 150lbs in 2 years.
It takes awhile but it is worth it for self confidence and not being looked at all the time.
