Do counter-top pushups.
Stand, facing the counter in your kitchen. Stand back a bit. Lean forward, hands on the edge of your counter top. Push up and down, slowly, in control, 20 times. Do every day
When you get to the point where it becomes easy, then drop down a bit; such as doing the pushups from the handles of a strong chair.
As time goes by, keep finding ways to go lower and lower. Eventually you will be doing pushups from the floor.
When THAT gets easy, start putting books under your feet and slowly raise your feet up higher than your head and shoulders.
Move up to chairs, then the kitchen counter top, again. But this time your feet are on top of the counter, not your hands.
Killer exercise. Give yourself a lot of time to achieve this final goal.
