ig you can call it a "fat" gene, but just look at your grandparents chances are their bodies are goin to be your bodies in a few decades. o and maybe it can be turned off but its going to take a few generations or just one good lucky mutation. the end
No. Some people are genetically predispositioned to more easily gain or lose weight, but short of a metabolic disorder, anyone can gain or lose weight with the proper diet and exerise (AND MOTIVATION!)
I don't think there is really a fat gene. It's just if your family has a history of being overweight, then you will probably as well, due to a slower metabolism. People with slower metabolisms have to be more careful about what they eat and exercise more often than people with faster metabolisms, in order to speed up the process.
If there was a fat gene, could a person get fat eating one peanut a day? No, they would starve like anyone else. They could not possibly get fat unless they were eating too much or more than they need.

The way that you have learned to eat is responsible for making obesity (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) the number 1 health problem in the world soon replacing hunger and infectious disease. So it is mostly not your fault if you need to lose weight. You are part of this pandemic (epidemic) of obesity.

You need to learn a whole new way of eating. The site below will teach about losing bodyfat, retained water and something else. Plus you learn about anti-water and absolute fastest way to lose weight. Learn everything on it. Do this and you can be thin. Do this not and remain part of the biggest pandemic ever. This also applies to all these people that Dr Phil McGraw says are "weight loss resistant" including himself.
