This French guy who is about as "Red, White, and Blue" as a lump of moldy brie comes to the U.S. and chastizes just about everything about us.

But. he says people are not really that much more overweight than Europeans.

That's a myth. something Europeans tell themselves to feel good about how screwed up their economies are.

If you live in the city (either here or there) you will tend to be thin.

But go out in the country. to Provence, or the Scottish highlands, or rural America, and you will see fat people galore. Yank, as in Yankee? No, I wouldn't feel sick. I am a "yankee" and not overweight..Maybe I misunderstood your question though.
