Answers:
Please do not try diet pills because they are not the long term answer and many can cause negative health effects. Consider a healthy lifestyle change.

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:

*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). A website that explains this formula in more detail and will help you determine how many calories you need to reach or maintain a certain weight is at http://www.primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/library/weight/calsburned.htm

Get a diet and fitness calculator that you can put on your computer or cell phone. This will allow you to easily calculate the above formula, set goals, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.

Set realistic goals for your ideal body weight. Here are two websites that will calculate a suggested body weight:
Adults: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm
Teens/Children: http://www.kidshealth.org/kid/exercise/weight/bmi.html

It is difficult and unhealthy to lose more than one or two pounds per week. There are 3,500 calories in a pound. If you eat 500 fewer calories per day for a week you will lose one pound. If you burn through exercise 500 more calories per day for a week you will lose one pound.

*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.

Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:
http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsource/carbohydrates.html

Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Here is an excellent food pyramid that anyone can follow: http://www.rayandterry.com/html/images/PyramidLRG.gif?osCsid=26a424be471d1337e7c2f105d5c64d9d

*3) Exercise on most days by doing cardiovascular training and/or resistance training activities.

Read a book or find a certified trainer to make sure your doing all resistance training exercises correctly. A great book to buy that teaches you the resistance training basics is “Weight Training for Dummies”. A superb magazine to buy with resistance training routines that will not get you bored is "Muscle and Fitness". Signup for the free newsletter. An excellent free online resource is at http://www.exrx.net/

A good book to buy that teaches you the cardiovascular training basics is “Fitness for Dummies”.

*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.

*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A superb book to read is “You The Owner’s Manual”. An excellent periodic publication is the “Nutrition Action Health Letter”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com

Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier. Send me an email or yahoo instant message to "gainbetterhealth" if you want an indoor air purifier recommendation and if you have any questions.

First of all you need to learn how to spell.
it is lose weight. not loose wieght.
geez.
the only way to lose weight is to get off your butt and exercise.
ummm yeah water, salad, a treadmill, a jumprope, some time, sit ups and just light exercises
How about eat less (I mean smaller portions)? Why don't you ask your GP?
you should stop being lazy and exercises. being 14 and on a pill to loose weight is the stupidest idea i've heard all day. and it's been a long day.
exercise and a fitness regime, why are so many people looking for a miracle cure for weight problems on here? Control your calorific intake and get out and about some more!
Healthiest way to weight loss: exercise more, eat less. Difficult, but true. I would not recommend any pill. They are all lies-- they are cashing in on your desire to lose weight quickly.

If it was easy to lose weight, do you think we'd have so many fat people?
the healthiest thing to do is diet and excersise. I don't know if you watch the news, but you should really be careful about which diet pill you use cuz that sh!t can be very dangerous. Try drinking large glasses of water when you get hungry.Or brushing your teeth, eating ice, something that will keep you from wanting food.
no, you're still too young to take diet pills. all you can do is cut down on sugar and sweets. always remember that proper diet and exercise, plus the discipline always helps.
The problem is not loosing weight but eating right. Try changing your diet, drinking tons of water and walking lots. As simple as this may sound it really works.
I don't believe that any diet pill is safe. Especially for a 14 year old. Alot of those diet pills in the market contain ingredients like ephedrine, which is extremely unsafe for adults, much less teens.Ephedrine raises your heartbeat among other things.

I suggest you come up with an eating plan. If you have a general way of determining which foods will make you gain weight, and stay away from them, you'll notice the pounds slipping away. Better yet, if you combine with exercise, you'll feel great ! I know this isn't the answer you wanted, but I believe in the long run, this will prove most beneficial to your health.

Good Luck !
if u can try swimming laps if that doesnt work out try jogging cycling etc.
being that you are only 14 please do not try starving yourself or even the pill. eating 4-6 small healthy meals a day, and 30 mins exercise five times a week outdoors will help those pounds melt away. a healthy meal would included protein (chicken, fish), and three veggies (two cooked and one raw like salad or carrot sticks). drink two glasses of water before each meal, this will help you to eat less. when you need a snack munch on fruit, veggies, rice cakes, etc. hope this helps email me for more tips.
No, a pill isn't necessary. They don't work anyways. Check with your doctor first to find out if you have any health problems that could be contributing to your weight. Check with your parents, too, if it's okay. If you don't have a thyroid problem, or anything other health problem, proceed with the losing weight by eating healthy and exercising.

Nutrition is important. Eat healthy, by getting the caloric amount you need. You do need calories and fat. For more help, go to: http://www.kidshealth.org/teen/food_fitness/nutrition/fat_calories.html . Drink plenty of water, just start yourself out slowly. Don't suddenly start drinking eight glasses (you'll really have to go to the bathroom then), but start with four and work your way up.

I'd also suggest becoming vegetarian. But talk to your doctor and family first. :) www.vegsoc.org.nz

Eat 4-6 small meals per day (ie. breakfast, midday snack, lunch, dinner, dessert). NEVER skip a meal. DON'T stop eating. It lets your body realize that there is food in the area and won't store fat for energy.

Exersize. America would be so much thinner if they just exersized. Find an active activity you enjoy doing (dancing, jogging, whatever) and do it! If you don't like exersize, walk after each meal for fifteen minutes each. Alternate days about how hard you push yourself. Day one: push yourself. Day two: do a lighter version of the exersize. Day three: push yourself. Day four: do a lighter version... you get the idea. The reason for alternating is to allow your muscles to heal. Never push yourself more than at a level which you can carry on a conversation. It burns the most fat that way.

Have fun, and good luck!!
Join a gym and excersize there 2-3 times a week. Maybe run every morning around the neighborhood? Eat smaller portions of non-fried food. Every once in awhile though, you should have a cheat day where you can eat somethin sweet for all the hard work you have been doing. Don't over do it though. I don't want you to get sick. God bless!
Healthy food for weight loss

Is it possible to eat more food and actually lose weight? Absolutely, if you eat more of healthy foods than empty calorie foods (junk food).

Not everyone realizes that you do not have to deprive yourself in order to lose weight. What you have to do is eat more of healthy foods, leaving less room for "bad" foods. If you eat healthy foods - meaning foods high in vitamins and nutrients and are flavorful - you will find that you want less of high calorie or empty calorie foods. Having a variety of foods that you like and want to eat makes it easier to maintain any changes you make to your diet.

When making any changes to the way you eat, do so slowly and don't criticize yourself if your changes take time to become a habit. Study after study has shown that making small changes is what counts. One change at a time will be easier to accomplish and stick with than making a lot of changes all at once. Every little change you make will bring benefits to your health and your waistline.

Here are some changes you can make one at a time that can give you quick weight loss results:

* Eat breakfast
A lot of people skip breakfast. This is a big mistake if you are trying to lose weight. Studies show that those who do not eat breakfast will overeat later in the day. Also, eating breakfast gets your metabolism going, and so whatever is eaten in the morning is metabolized better. If you are not a breakfast eater, try a fruit smoothie or other nutritional shakes.

* Drink water
Try to drink at least 8 glasses of water per day. Ice water is best because it will speed up your metabolism. Water is, of course, calorie free and flushes out fat. And lastly, drinking water about a half hour before eating will curb your hunger and will make it less likely that you will overeat.

* Add vegetables
Adding vegetables to some of your favorite dishes is a good way to get in some extra servings of veggies every day. Some examples are: sauces, soups, omelets, sandwiches, and salads. Of course, vegetables make a great snack by themselves or dipped in low-calorie dressings.

* Try to eat more salads
If you're anything like I used to be, as soon as I heard the word "salad," I would immediately think "boring!" That is until I figured out how creative one can be when making a salad. Try adding new vegetables that you haven't tried before or adding boiled eggs, strips of grilled chicken, cheese, and/or nuts. Keep fresh lettuce and spinach leafs on hand, and remember to go easy on the dressing or make your own healthy salad dressing. A healthy and great tasting dressing is mixed olive oil and lemon juice.
