Deez are healthy nuts

Walnuts have omega 3 Almonds are good for you and they help to prevent cancer. Just don't eat too many nuts in general; they've got lots of fat in them.

I heard almonds are very good for you!

Nuts are good for you in the right amount. Almonds are great. So, funny, are psittacosis. Supposedly walnuts are good too.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, let me see, DEEZ NUTS! i have some super healthy nuts for you

Almonds My Freind Almonds!!

virtually, all nuts are good.

Almonds and sunflower seeds on top of salads. mmmm Pili nuts from the Philippines because there is less oil to avoid high blood.

raw almonds, flax and amaranth

ask your boyfriend, I'll bet he'll have some nuts for you to taste!

Almonds, cashews, pecans, pistachios, and walnuts are all good, and sunflower seeds are as well. The latest research shows that all nuts and seeds are beneficial. Walnuts have the most omega 3 fatty acids that can bind the free radicals and rid them to prevent cancer. Be sure the nuts are not roasted. This denatures the beneficial oils. Add them to salads or whole grain cereals. The recommendation is one ounce 5 times a week. Good luck and enjoy!

Well, read all the rest of the answers. (Yes, walnuts do have Omega 3. I love to get black walnuts off the trees, but I'm a farm girl.) All nuts are beneficial ("good oils" as they are called, are contained.) I feel they are one of the best things you can eat. I need oils. I am a vegetarian and luv nuts. I like any kind (especially sunflower seeds.. flax seeds are super healthy.. I bake breads, porridges with them.) except.. (I admit it.. I dislike cashews and Brazil nuts.. ugh!) ha.. I go to the healthfood store and in addition to flax, buy a whole slew of seeds. There IS no bad seed.. my favorite is a green (pumpkin seed.) I actually crave nuts (and beans..) I thrive on 'em. (Is this more answer than ya bargained for?! omg)

All nuts are good for you, but in small amounts. In spite of their healthy value you must watch how much you eat because they are high in fats. In other words, adding some almonds, cashews, walnuts, pecans, sunflower seeds, etc. to salads, muffins, cookies, brownies, etc. is OK, but you should not sit and eat handfuls of them. As for which nuts taste good - that is personal taste. I haven't met a nut or seed yet that I didn't like.

Lightly toasting nuts brings out the flavor, but you must watch them carefully whether browning in the oven or in a skillet.

By adding nuts to oatmeal, cookies, salads, etc. you are creating a healthier variation. One way to fuel your body for the entire morning is adding a few nuts and a few raisins to a bowl of hot cereal. Nuts also can be considered a source of protein.

I use all kinds of nuts in my various pestos. Most people think pesto is only made from basil and pine nuts but any green herb and even spinach or green tomatoes work as does the addition of any nut. The variations are endless.

So go nuts (in moderation) and stay healthy!
