at 13 you shouldnt be doing anything more than running. You could end up hurting yourself and hinder development in the future.
I dont know your metabolism or weight or anything else,so it's kind of hard to answer that,but there's really no fast diet,well there are,but right when you quit,you'll gain it all back plus some.. Just walk,drink lots of water,sit ups maybe with a medicine ball.
DIETS don't work, because people do not stay on them.
If you want to show your abs, it has to be a change you are willing to make.
1. eat protein (fish, red meat, ) but not too much.
2. Calcium (milk, diary)
3. Veggies, veggies, veggies !!!
also do push-ups, sit-ups, basketball, running, soccer, etc.

hey im trying to do the same thing....i think running is really good for it and simple stretching helps your body perform much better....i learned these four different ways to work your ab muscles so that they will build up and work faster
1. kneel on the floor in a "table position" so that your weight is on your hands and knees....keep your back flat...inhale while pushing your stomach out and exhale while pulling your stomach in...do each for three seconds at a time.....repeat for a minute
2. Lie facedown on the floor with you legs extended and your body propped up by the forearms....push yourself up till ur back is flat...contract your stomach muscles and hold for a minute..
3. sit up straight in a chair with ur feet flat on the floor.....position your elbows at a 90 degree angle level w/ ur shoulders and palms facing forward....bring ur left elbow and ur right knee towards each other and return to the starting position...then do the same thing with ur right elbow and left knee.....alternate the movesfor a minute...
4. remain upright in the chair and grab both sides of the front of the seat near ur hips...inhale...as u exhale lift ur knees up slowely toward ur chest....if necessary lean back a little in teh chair but do not curve ur lower back...hold for three seconds and repeat for a minute
