Does anyone own a BOWFLEX Xtreme? Are you satisfied with it's construction?

Yes the bowflex does work i use it alot its worth it you just have to be commited,hardworking,and dedication to it and it will work.

My fiance owns one. We have it in the garage. I'm paraplegic and I use it. It works fine for me but I still recommend going to the gym. The gym is the best way to go I say.

I have the Ultimate 2. Very good machine, one week later and I'm already getting results.,although i don't notice them when i look at the mirror, other people do. Also, get the "Bowflex Body Plan" book by Dr. Ellington Darden and "Body of Life" by Bill Phillips. Both show great workout techniques that help you loose fat and built muscle with the Bowflex machines. Don't waste your money just buy weights and workout the old fashion way.
