When measuring body weight in British terms, how much is a "stone"?


Question:
I keep hearing this term being used, but I really don't know what it means.

Answers:
A "stone" is 14 lbs. Maybe I'll start telling people I weight so many stones so they don't know how much I really weight!! Thanks for the great idea :)
