Food doesn't melt fat ... muscle and exercize do. Some foods take more calories to digest than what they had to start with. I think celery, apples, lettuce, cucumbers...I'm not sure of all of them but they are called "negative calorie foods" and you can find books and websites dedicated to losing weight eating these foods.
