I would focus on your cardio to lose the excess fat or you will never see the benefit of all those situps .
To see definition in a stomach you need to be between 7-10% body fat .

Try doing 25-50 crunches and 30 sec. stomach hold each night(Push-up position and hold with abs... you will feel it...).
i do 200 crunches a day its like a sit up but as far as you can go. i do 100 in the morning and 100 at night if you can stick to it youll start seeing results i have and i love it!!! GOOD LUCK
