First, don't feel bad about yourself. At your age, I know it's hard not to, but if you have a positive attitude, you are much more likely to be happy & healthy.
You are going to want to try and cut some types of foods from your diet, but in moderation. Cut out some carbs, try to get low fat or no fat foods, don't eat snacks late at night, eat more fresh fruits & veggies, etc. You'll also want to cut caffeine from your diet. The most popular source is soda, which is fattening in and of itself, but caffeine is actually a weight loss inhibitor, meaning it will slow the process down.
Take a bike ride every evening after dinner. 10-20 minutes each evening. That will help you lose the calories that you just ate, but make sure you stay hydrated with water. Maybe pick up a cheap aerobic dvd or vhs and do that once a day in the morning. Make sure you eat breakfast, as this will help to jump start your metabolism.
Basically, the best thing you can do is to cut the junk food, fast food, and soda from your diet, and try to be active 2 or 3 times a day for around 20 minutes each time. Cardiovascular workouts are best for helping to lose weight, meaning workouts that get your heart pumping.
Make sure to stretch before and afterwards to prevent any injuries. You also might want to have your parents schedule you an appointment with your family doctor and discuss your options with him or her, to make sure you don't do anything that would hurt you or make you unhealthy.

the best way to loose body fat is with anerobic exercise, i.e. lifting weights. get a bench and some dumbells

are you saying your parents don't know you weigh 150 lbs or they don't know you want to lose the extra weight?
my best suggestion to you other than cutting out the cola's and fast food and sugary snacks- would be to watch your nutrition- be sure to get the right stuff and begin exercising . first off i would stretch and do some aerobics in my room
then i would walk a couple of miles kinda fast- might take you 30 minutes to do.
if you do this plus eat sensibly- you will drop the extra weight and be healthier and better toned for your effort
There is no way to lose it fast without hurting yourself but, you can start by walking everyday and eating alot of fruit and veggies. At your age it will come off faster than you think. Give your parents a chance to help you, they might want too.
u r so young..go to the gym and get sum portion of training everyday and do sum diet programs, u cant lose ur weight fast but it's the nicest thing to do..never use sum lose weight drugs..!

dear one, this is hard for you. eat half of what you usually eat. Don't eat fast food. Eat only whole wheat bread, poultry, and fish. No beef! Try eating a yogurt for breakfast, odwalla drink for lunch, and a salad with grilled chicken for dinner. Don't eat ice cream, eat frozen yogurt. And exercise daily. Walk in a safe are until you can get up to three miles a day or swim, or both and bike. As much as you have time for, maybe two hours a day. I am 5'4" and weigh 115. You have to change how you eat. If you normally have a whole sandwich now have just half and get some fresh carrots to munch on as well as apples and any other fruit you like. No candy or chips.
Wow, I am sorry you are feeling so bad about yourself at such a young age. My son is 10 and has a bit of a weight problem too. I tell him that I love him no matter what. Hopefully you have support at home too. The best advice is to get up and get active. I have made my son start walking with me at least 4 nights a week and cut out his late night snacking. Just by doing this, he has lost 11 pounds in 3 weeks! You can do it. Just be strong and believe in yourself.

I put on about 10lbs just last winter..all the holidays and food.I started drinking flavored water (aquafina flavor splash is good) everyday, I maybe drank 1 can of pop a day,sometimes none.and just doing that,I dropped atleast 5lbs. You'd be suprised how much difference it makes,just to stop drinking pop,you'll have more energy too. Water flushes your body,and for a couple days you might have a couple pounds of water weight,but that will go away.If you like juices,drink ones with a lot of acid in them,like cranberry juice (not the mixed ones,straight cranberry). The acids in them eat away the fat in your body.Warning: Dont drink too much of it especially if your family has a history of kidney stones,cranberry juice can cause them,but I think you'd have to drink a lot,drink with lots of water.

The weight loss meds that are available by prescription pretty much just make you crap a lot,which is not convenient for a lot of people..lol.but a lot of people do use them,most of the time they have to pay for them because they arent covered by a lot of insurances without you and the doctor putting up a fight. Even with those,you have to work out a little bit atleast and you have to eat right,so if you go off the medication and dont keep working out and eating right.the weight will just come back on. The 2 drugs by prescription are called Meridia,and Xenical (say the X like a Z,zenical),there will also be a new drug coming out sometime this year i think,that is generic..therefore cheaper..they are expensive and depending on the insurance you parents have they may or may not be covered.Working in a pharmacy you learn a lot of things.if you choose to go that route with Rx medications,the pharmacy may tell you that its not covered by your insurance..if they are nice and smart,they'll already know to try calliing your insurance and asking what they need to do to get it covered.A lot of the time insurance co. will cover it if the doctor calls them or writes a "letter of medical neccesity" most of the time they will only cover the drug if your weight,age,height and BMI meets certain requirements.Your bmi needs to be at or above a certain number/percentage for them to agree. They'll ask your doctor what your weight goal is,and about how long it will take you to reach it,they'll usually only approve it for a certain amount of time.If your pharmacy doesnt mention anything like calling your parents insurance co. or talking to the doctor about calling them,then you make them..all your ins. co can do is say no. I admit,sometimes we are just too busy and we know that not many people know that you can get around a lot of things like that.so we dont bother,it's a lot of work.people have no idea what it takes to get you your medication,but you may be able to get a prescription drug to help you.Good luck and I hope you ask your mom or dad to call your doctor,they will be happy to help.
