Do you lose weight this way?

Question:
I go tanning.since you sweat a whole lot during tanning will it make you lose weight?

Answers:
You will only lose water weight which will come right back as you rehydrate your body. However, you do run a big risk of skin cancer and premature aging of your skin.

Other Answers:
it's just water weight

BUT

having darker skin does make you appear slimmer.
no.
as soon as you finish tanning and have a drink you'll put the weight back on.
Dont think so, maybe dehydration and skin cancer if you want?
Not in a healthy way--make sure to hydrate when you tan or go to the sauna. Dehydration is seriously unhealthy. You need to find a balance. The best way to lose weight is to drink a lot of water and balance between good eating (a pain, I know) and exercise.
you lose weight but its just water not fat sorry
sooo soo blonde
I would guess so. I am 99% sure it would. That is why people go to steam rooms to sweat off pounds.
Loosing water weight is really just a temporary weight loss so NO, tanning is not a good way to lose weight.
Your sweating out water. The tanning does nothing for the fat that still clings to the insides of your body.

Keep tanning and soon enough you will dehydrate yourself. When you are dehydrated you have to drink more water or else you could die. When you gain back the water weight, you'll see.

The same thing happens when you use diuretics. Its just with one way you crap the water out. The other way you sweat the water out. And the fat still stays in place without giving you any real significant strength.
Sweating is losing water weight. Weight loss is burning more calories than you consume, mostly by working large muscle groups hard.
No.
you should also work out, im 20 years old and you might be skinny or look skinny, but i can really feel the diference and see the diference on a girl who works out or a girl who doest, and i tell you i love girls who work out, their bodies are toned and its just amazing. so i say work out, also once you really do it, youll really like i promise.
