If you only eat fruit you will starve your body, your body needs fat and protein to survive. Vegans have to eat soy, tofu, and peanuts, stuff like that, to get their protein and that's not allways the best. The best sources of protein is extra-lean meats consumed in moderation.
If you want to detox your body try eating more fiber, soluble and insoluble. Don't take laxetives they are bad, get your fiber from all natural sources.

i have tried so many detoxification diets and cant go beyond the first few days.
the only exception being fruit diet.
i cant live on cabbage soup or vegetables only. i tried eating only fruits and veggies with no dressing for a week.it worked.my skin glowed and i felt great but i didnt lose any weight as such. felt better but i think i was eating too much fruit to have lost weight. to lose weight do a only vegetable diet
there are no fruits that will provide calcium and protein.
if your health is good you could replace each meal for two or three days with two glasses of fresh lemon juice.
then be sure to eat a meal of meat and vegetables.
your body will purge lots of rubbish, so be sure to drink some water each day.
Yeah, i have tried that. But not for days together. You can extend urself by taking soya chunks or soya granules for protein during those days.
