While it is true that exercising a specific bodypart will not affect fat metabolism in that area you can do the following exercises at home to posibly add some musle to your gluteous maximus-minimus(yer booty).Try doing a squat regimen by standing with your feet beyond shoulder width apart and toed out slightly.Squat down slowly and quickly reverse to motion on the way up.This will hopefully also activate the myotatic reflex and cause the muscles involved to grow(hypertrophy).You can also hold this stance in the down position for as long as you can at the end of the workout.Try to perform this type of workout every three days for about half hour.Eat plenty of protein so the muscles can grow.Limit carbohydrate intake especially late in the day and don't eat them before bed ever.Make sure to keep your fiber intake up as it binds to lipids in your tract.Some or most of these techniques will help.Try the whole routine for about ten to twelve days and look for some improvement after that but don't just stop if you do see improvement.Good luck.Joe
