Weight loss challenged! HELP?


Question:
I have lost about 40 pounds since last July.I am 5' 9" and currently weigh 186. I think I need to spice up my workout routines.Anyone tried the belly dancing videos? I'm tired of the elliptical/treadmill.and so on! Thanks

Belly dancing would be fun to try, but it won't help you burn the calories. First and foremost, you need to change your diet, which I assume you already have.

As far as some fun exercise that burns calories - biking, walking, or jogging outdoors; roller skating/blading (in or outdoors); strip aerobics; Jazzercise; swimming.

I agree, the eliptical and the treadmill do get boring after a while!

Never tried belly dancing, but cardio kick-boxing is a GREAT workout (not boring, either). Good luck! hey!
if u wanna loose weight faster belly dancing wont help if u dont go jogging and a good healthy diet.
i know belly dance well. and im good at it. im a thin girl! but u have to try to go dancing an hour everyday!
and jogging 45 minutes a day better to do @ night! like 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm. cause when u come home ur so tired and u just wanna drink sth like milk and water then u sleep.
but if u do it in a day u want to eat everything u see.
be carreful about these small things and ways!
u know this better than me, no rice no carbohydrate . or very less!
and more protein, full ur stomach more with salads , 1 kinda fruits. dont take 2 diffrent fruits in a day!
dont take straberries, green apple. and sour things, cause it makes u feel hungry fast!
to see a good result in ur diet u have to change ur routine diet and excersices every month. like when this month u walk , next month u go jogging.

first of all congratulations on losing 40 pounds. Your my idol but belly dancing is a great fun workout also try pilates and maybe yoga. But you still sould run and stuff to. :)
