Also, I once read in Prevention magazine that if you snack all the time, you could be getting mixed signals from your body, and that many people who are constantly snacking aren't really hungry, they're just slightly dehydrated. I don't know why your body would send you these mixed signals, but once I started drinking two liters of water a day I definitely didn't have the urge to snack as much. This could help you if you're one of those people who gets most of your calories from non-meal foods.

Anyway, drinking water isn't going to hurt!

Well if you want to lose weight by drinking water you most drink atleast drink 12 cups water and exercise a lot. Also eat healthy things like fruits and veges.

I believe so, yes. But it has to be a good amount of water. If you drink only a little (and up to 3 or 4 or 5 glasses is not much really), then the water gets absorbed in yr system. But when u drink a lot of water, it breaks down other fats in your body, and it lets yr food that being or been digested mix with the water and flow through to come out the other side (sorry for this graphic!).

But this must be room temperature water, not cold water. Cold water hardens food inside u, making it tougher to be broken down to come out. People always say "drink water", but they never tell you that there'sa difference between drinking cold water and room temp water.

If you wanna go a step further, drink a warm glass of water every night before you sleep, and a couple of glasses in the morning before you even brush your teeth.

yes it helps so much. if you drink your 8 glasses of water a day you can loose weight. i lost 30 lbs in 2.5 months. i didn't exercise and i just ate a little less than before. i really don't know how i was able to loose so much weight buti think it was the water because i have tryed to loose weight without drinking all that water and it doesn't work.

If you drink only water, no soda or sugary juices. Water also helps digest food faster. I lost 10 pounds drinking a 10 glasses a day, so try it!
