More important than losing 60 lb. by May is your health. You've already said starving yourself caused you to gain weight. What you need now is to eat healthy. Eat lots of vegetables, some fruit, some lean protein, some whole grains, some fat free dairy, drink 6 glasses of water per day and get 30 minutes of exercise every day. You may not lose 60 lb., but you will look and feel great.
3-8oz glasses of grapefruit juice a day = loss of 4 lbs every 12 weeks
12 pounds a month. That's very doable. Exercise burns fat. That's it in a nutshell. Do a lot of walking, cycling, treadmill, anything to burn calories that you can. Diets just don't work. trust me I've tried them all.

Another option is to change your occupation. If you pick an occupation in which you're literally moving all the time, you can't help but start to shed the weight.

Yes it is possible. You need to Start Exercising Daily ( Running,walking,swimming) and then you need to eat about 5-6 smaller meals a day.
Ask your doctor whats a good way to help u loose wait. You can exercise every day. Make sure to eat halthier foods, and cut out the salt, Sodium, fat, saturated fat, and sugar products. (Only products that are full of those things) Pretty mcuh dieting and exercising is an anwser. Its possible jsut depending on how motivated u are, and how badly u want or need to lose weight!

It is very tough eating plan but if you really want to do this, it works amazingly! Very little - no excercise, just some toning bands, like extreme stretching almost. And a little walking.

The amount of calories you consume is by far the most important reason you gain or lose weight at any time.
I'll be very serious. I don't believe that you are starving yourself. And if you are starving yourself, then you are probably overeating at other times.
You will need to eat significantly less than you currently are to be able to lose weight.
Stop eating any snack foods or dessert. Eat only meals. And stop eating any sugar. Make sure you eat vegetables at every meal.

You are looking to lose 10 pounds a month. I think that is unrealistic. I would say 40-50 pounds would be more achievable. The number 1 tip to losing weight is that you have to eat! If you starve yourself, your metabolism will not get back to normal. I wouldn't use a specific diet, just eat healthy. Always have breakfast, eat small frequent meals. The fact that you have starved yourself in the past will make this really difficult. We are genetically programmed to force what we ingest to turn to fat in times of starvation in order to survive. In essence, you have programmed yourself to be heavy. It is very unhealthy to lose more than a couple of pounds a week, and if you do, you will be reinforcing the bad programming that you have already screwed up. I'm not saying it's your fault, It's not. Ad's are convincing. Lifelong diet and exercise are the only way.

Please listen to everyone's advice and DO eat 5-6 small meals a day if your job allows it. You're telling my story, girl! I still sometimes forget to eat and when I was fat I rarely ate at all during the day. Then once I started I didn't stop.
Since you're a female I would have to say it's unrealistic and impossible BUT you could look darn good, be fairly close to your goal and feel excellent about yourself with the time you have.
Everyone is mentioning different plans and most are good but the real answer is to find the one that's a perfect match for you. If you're happy with what you're eating and the exercise you're doing you WILL be successful. That along with good planning and a little determination is all it takes. Remember. Whatever plan you choose is for life. You can switch around until you find your perfect match but know for sure that this is FOR LIFE or your hard work will be for naught. If you go back to the way you were eating you'll gain it all back and more. The mistake most people make is to choose a plan simply because it works for someone else or is the current fad. I'm nearly 60 and it took until 2004 to find my perfect eating plan, which happens to be Atkins. I lost 70 lbs. in 13 months and have kept it off for two years. Sounds like your lifestyle has a lot to do with it. Not having time to eat. Maybe you should chose mobile foods to have mini meals if you don't have time for real meals. Like a protein drink for breakfast, throw in a fruit. Then bag up 1 oz of nuts and a few raisins for a trail mix for a snack mid morning. Possible frozen lean Cusine or Healthy choice meal for lunch, low fat yogurt for pm.m snack and then whatever your family has for dinner.
I have the time problem also and gained weight because I forgot to eat, then at night when all calms down I am eating high fat foods. But I have ben losing weight now because of the program above. Good luck.
