When i bench press, sometimes i bring up the bar on my right side up faster than my left. Is this ok?

Question:
So basically the bar isn't level. Sometimes it is a bit much. Does it matter? And also, is it normal if my right bicep is somewhat bigger than my left? Please dont answer if you dont no what you are talkin about. Thanks

Answers:
It's normal at the beginning because we have a dominant side. As you get stronger and start building muscle mass it will begin to even out as long as you do proper form (execute the exercise correctly). I would start with dumbbells because they exercise other muscles as well that will help you keep balance.

Other Answers:
Are you left or right handed? The dominant side is always stronger.
You need to strengthen the weaker side with extra weights.

it seems like your right side is much stronger than your left

it looks like time to do dumbell presses for chest instead of bench press
you want to equalize the strength--so grab a set of dumbells and do dumbell chest presses--this way you not only build better stabilizer muscles, but also equal strength in each chest/arm

after 1 month, you can go back to bench press--you'll notice you'll have better balance, and a stronger left side

good luck
