No, it is you that has to work, not the machine. Most of them are left under the bed within 2 days, then end up in a garage sale within 6 months. There are no short cuts to good abs..sorry.

I have 10 years personal training exp. and let me tell you that nothing beats pure body weight exercises, crunches(done right), leg lifts, stability balls when it comes to shredding the 8-pack.
just remember, if its a layer of fat sitting on your belly, no exercises save cardio will get rid of it. You have to burn it off- run, fastwalk, swim, anything that keeps your heart-rate up for at least 30-45 min a day. And of course-eat righteous!
