how can I stay motivated to work out every week and is 3 day out of the week good to work out.?
Question:
Answers:
The best motivation is to have a partner. That way you can encourage each other as you get fit. If not able to have a partner then take daily measurements and document your progress. As you tone up and see your body changing into the body you desire you will become motivated to maintain it. Three days a week is good as long as you mix it up. Include cardio vascular along with strength training. If you are looking for faster results then cardio 5 to 6 times a week and strength training every other day. when strength training be sure to work upper body muscle groups and lower body muscles alternately. I. E. Upper body m-w-f and lower body tue-thur-and Sat. Of course that leaves Sun as a day of rest which helps muscle relax. Another thing to remember is to diet accordingly. You will need more protein and complex carbs while working out to supply the muscle groups with the needed energy to function properly. Most experts say to target the abdominal muscles every other day just 3 days a week. This allows them time to recoup in between sessions. SO grab a partner and a good cd and hit the mat and work up a sweat! Good luck.

3 days a week is all I do, the rest of the week I just try to watch what I eat. Although breakfast is usually fast food like Jack in the Box or some crap like that. I figure as long as I get it in the morning I'm good to burn it off throughout the day.
3 days a week is a decent schedule.
As far as motivation, nobody can motivate you but you. However, if you need further convincing that it is a good idea look at some health statistics for those who exercise regularly vs. those who do not.
3 days a week is perfect if you are just starting out, your muscles need time heal after a work out. and staying motivated, thats were most people fail. So just keep up with it for yourself
-3 days is better than no days of the week!
--seriously- 3 days is likely pretty good for a steady workout
plan. I'm assuming you workout Mon/Wed/Fri orTues/Thurs/Sat
or something similar- the key being every other day.
-The every other day will allow your body to rest or build
muscle.
-Staying motivated can be the tougher part. I've managed to motivate myself to run or swim 5 days a week as I sort of think of the time as "me" time or my time to unwind or treat myself and let my mind wander without feeling as if I need to do anything else.
-Essentially, the workout is strictly for me and no one else. And I should be able to focus 1 hour out of each day totally on myself.
-Also, remind yourself often on how good you feel after the workout.
3 days a week should be fine.Try to workout every other day at the same time on those days each time. This alone may keep you motivated. If that's not enough try to be aware of positive changes in your appearance and strength
