I've been off Depo for about 2 months now, how long will it take to wear off?

It states in the literature that comes with the Depo-Provera that you can lose your fertility for up to a year after discontinuing the shots. That should have been discussed with you before you started it.

I've heard it could take up to a year depending on how long you were on it. In about 4-6 mos. it totally wore off, periods became regular and I lost a lot of weight.
for me it took 8 months. and i was cranky.. like super pms with a vengenance!
It really depends on how long you have been on it. The longer you were on it the longer it takes for it to wear off. They told me that in cases where it was taken over a year it can take up to that long.
