Why can't I stop eating?

Question:
I think I have an eating problem - I constantly think about my weight and compare myself to other girls. I currently weigh 147 lbs (I weighed 132 last summer). All I think about is food and I constantly splurge on sweets even when I am not hungry. HOwever it only makes me feel guilty afterwards. But I have never thrown anything up - I can't do that, it's too gross. I started working out this week. What should I do?

Answers:
I know how it feels. However since it's summer you can substitute sweets with fruits and drink much water. It really helps! I have problem identical to yours ( I love sweets and have them just out of pure boredom), but now since I'm commited to drink at least 3 liters of water per day, I don't wants sweets as much as I did.
Also, there must be an emotional disharmony that makes you look for sugar and simple pleasures like food. Try to figure what it is: maybe fatigue, depression or infatuation.and try to resolve it by counseling with good friends.
I sincerely wish you terrific results and flattering reflection in the mirror!! And more than that - inner peace.
Blessings!

If you honestly can't control yourself, you might need to see a doctor.

You have an eating disorder. You are using food to meet your emotional needs (i have the same problem for 25 years). You need a spiritual practice to fill yourself from the inside so you don't try to solve your feelings with food. I recommend yoga. It changes how you can fill yourself up without using food. are you smoking pot?

Sweets and sugary foods are so addicting, that's the problem with eating too much of them, the more you eat the more you want. if it's really bad, try going to the doctor and getting an appetite suppressor, it will be prescription, and depending on your weight and what it should be you will have to be on the meds from anywhere to 3 weeks to 3 months. Good luck!

You see, sugars cause your system to want more. When you cut out the carbs, you will crave less.

I recommend that you READ to learn. Get the South Beach Diet book, and learn what you can about nutrition. Then change the way that you eat for a life-time, and do not do a DIET thing. You will feel much better and much better about yourself.

It is very important to LOVE yourself before thinking of others. Once you LOVE yourself, you will find it easier to love others; and others will love you.

well ull have to get over the anxiety and do more workout

Stop eating so much! You say you want to lose weight, but your body tells me you don't. You want to be happy. Your brain (not your body) wants to be stimulated and satiated with food.
Your body doesn't. All it wants is the nutrition it needs. You probably aren't giving it the nutrition it needs. When it doesn't get fed properly, it will keep being hungry until it gets it.
I bet you are eating junk. Your body is not satisfied, so it's still hungry. You eat more junk, and your body keeps being hungry.
You gotta break the cycle. Eat only what your body needs, not what your brain wants. Exercise to stimulate your brain instead of stuffing your face. Exercise is something you need for oxygen delivery to the muscles, and it also burns calories and that will help your body look the way it was meant to look, beautiful, and not fat.
