It's CARBONATED(proper spelling) water. It is called that because it is made with Carbon Dioxide gas to make it fizz. It may be that the particular brand you drink has Salt or some other additive in it that might cause dehydration. Check the ingredients on the label. Or just drink plain water. Much better for you anyway.
Sodium is not salt or at least not table salt. Table salt is mainly Sodium chloride. THat's abpout al lI can remember from grade 9 science class, maybe a chemist can correct me?
