Weight Watchers is the only thing that helped me, I have lost 50 pound so far. But if you feel you do not have the time for meetings, Just simply eat healthy diet of Fresh fruit and veggies, white meat and fish, Whole wheat Bread ( But another suggestion, if you feel you can do it, Try cutting out Bread or anything made with flour. Cut out all sugar and pop and alcoholic beverage if you drink) Weight Watchers does want you to eat whole wheat products for the fiber. But I also take fiber supplement and it seems to do the trick. My sister in law gave up all sugar and flour made products and lost more weight then me in a year, she was 400 pounds , now she is hafe my size. lol Exercise is very essential. as well as proper rest . Drink lots of water, White or Green tea helps and juice with natural sweetness no added sugar. Watch your proportion sizes and you should do just fine.. If it helps, I do this, I measure out my food on a Bread plate, As I really do not need any more food then that, plus it tricks the mind into thinking you have more.
