As long as your happy nothing else matters. People should not be so ignorant, but unfortunatley these people are out there. If you are happy and healthy, don't bother paying any attention to them. There are some nice people left in the word.

Pookie.it's not a sin to look hot! Congrats on having a good self image!
You should feel good about yourself! If you are happy in your own skin then its other people's problem. I know its got its problems being bigger, but at the end of the day..you have something most people struggle to find these days..You are happy being you! Being fat isn't a sin, it's just that this world is driven off of Vanity. Who is to say that you have to be skinny to be hot? There are several girls out there that are fat and hot at the same time. It's just that all of the entertainment world focuses on is skinny people and what they look like. When one of these skinny people gains some weight it's like the whole world has come to an end.
Selective earing ?
You are right. I am sorry that you have been offended by others. I am really disappointed in how society decides what is beautiful or right. I mean we are all unique and yet some will say you are not good enough as you are. truly I think the greatest prejudice there is judging others or being bias ,simply on what we think people should be look like or act like
you go girl!! its a matter of health and wellbeing amongst most people. and some people feel that an overweight person doesnt not have respect for thier body
I've read that discrimination against overweight people is one of the last widely accepted forms of discrimination. I am not really sure why, I think it has to do with our society. As long as you are happpy and healthy, then who cares! I think some people are just looking for something to make themselves feel better.
If the "****" you hear from others is in the form of put-downs or insults or so on, then I agree with you that such comments are uncalled-for.
Having said that, it's important to know that being significantly overweight isn't just a matter of physical appearance, nor is it a "sin."
Rather, it's a serious health issue, because it puts one at a much greater risk for all sorts of health problems.
Having a husband and good self-esteem are great, of course, but they don't remove the fact that your weight could cause some serious health problems -- if not now, then very likely down the road.
My mother said it best: "There are a lot of fat people, and there are a lot of old people. But there aren't a lot of fat old people."
Hopefully, things said to you about your weight are said out of concern for your health and your life span -- and not for the purpose of giving you "****."
I have a husband who is 6' 275lbs. I love him to death, but i wish he would take better care of himself not only for his sake, but our daughters. When my husband was 14, he found his dad dead in bed of a heart attack. I fear something similar happening to our daughter. I want us to live long healthy lives together. I know there are other ways to die, but I dont want him increasing his chances. You know, he could put down the soda and chips for us. If you like your body the way you are, fine, but think about this. The #1 killer of women is heart disease. Think about the people you love. Have you ever seen a 250lb person over the age of 65 or 70? I am pretty sure that being fat isn't a sin, although gluttony is one of the seven deadly ones.
There is definately a stigma on fat though and it's very profound. In medievil eras fat was romanticized as beautiful. a sign of fertility and wealth. Good stuff. Now, it is a supposed indicator of slovenliness.
Sad thing is, studies are showing more and more that genetic play a significant role in the ability to control one's appetite as well as metabolism, and athleticism.
Glad you enjoy your shape. Your husband probably does too.
