What is the healthiest food you can eat that is also filling?

Question:
In your opinion, and from your experience in attaining your weight loss goals, what have you found to be a filling snack or part to your meal that is filling, but at the same time good for you as well. There are so many healthy snacks out there like fruits and veggies of course, but some of these just don't cut it because your stomach starts rumbling soon after eating them. I'm looking for something that will fill my tummy and stave off those hunger pangs.

Answers:
MultiGrain English Muffins with low fat cream cheese is really healthy at the same time lowfat and filling.

Other Answers:
well, i am from UA so from my opinion is soup; why? it has all the good things that you need for your every-day life and you will be filled quite for a long time, and its not a fattening thing.
whey protein

just take one serving (one scoop) with water or skim milk
and it keeps you full for 2-3 hours.

each scoop has 24 grams of good isolated whey protein, and virtually no saturated fat--ideal for keeping slim and keeping full

i've used optimum nutrition whey protein (they have many flavors such as strawberry, chocolate, cookies and cream, etc)--you should check them out either online or at your local nutrition store
Try carrying a snack bag filled with sliced celery and cucumbers. Another helper to stave off hunger is popcorn. Or you can try Brown Cow yogurt-- very tasty and filling.
