No. It's a gimmick. Do cardiovascular excercise to increase your heart rate and burn fat. Sit ups help, but if you do them improperly, your stomach will puff out. I suggest you get a DVD/video on pilates. Jennifer Kries is an excellent instructor. Denise Austin is a good instructor for abdominal exercises. The key is to suck your tummy in when doing ab work. If you let the muscles puff outward, then your muscles will develop OUTward and you won't get that flat appearance.

i've tried all belts,diet pills..etc.. save your money, only exercise can help, cardio and sit ups.
oh my GOD I wish! (LOL) Wouldn't that be nice. Actually, what it does is to use warm moisture to cause the mid area to shed water-weight (which we are mostly made of) making it appear that we're getting slimmer. However, you need to BE SURE to drink water to make up for what your losing. You aren't losing fat, and to keep it off the 'extra' water you've lost, you'd have to do this every day.

i wish products like that worked! i had the same problem.
here are a few tips that helped me:
1. situps (do crunches, side crunches, etc. every other day)
2. cardio (it's the best way to boost your metabolism and shed weight)
3. try to avoid starchy and sugary foods (as i find they go straight to the belly)
4. stretch (it helps tone the body)
5. drink tons of water (it flushes toxins and reduces appetite)
