Yes your body will get used to it eventually. But you will still have to pee about every hour. Get used to it though cause you're doing your body good.

Don't worry... your body will adjust. Try to space it out a little more... I have 16oz with breakfast, sip on 32 oz at my desk during the day, drink another 8 oz on the drive home, and have another 8 oz with dinner. I try not to drink after 7:00 at night so I don't wake up all night having to go.

Yeah, especially if you work out. Your body will adapt to the new intake of water. Besides, peeing is mostly a mental thing. The brain can determine when and where you want to do something. It just takes time for the brain to manage higher intakes of fluid, it will adjust accordingly and then you should be fine.
If you drink that much water then you will pee a lot. It is natrual. It just means that you are hydrated. Keep it up. It sucks to pee that much but it is good for you body to have enough water.

You should be going to the "potty" every 2 to 2 1/2 hours. If it was less than that before you started the 8 a day you were dehydrated. If you are going every 1 to 2 hours that will level off soon.
It's commendable that you actually attempted doing so. Some people never do that.
Depending on what your activities are, the amount of times you use the bathroom will reflect that.
For example, athletes such as runners don't have to urinate as much because they sweat it out.
If you want to maintain your regiment of drinking that much water you can balance it out by engaging in physical activities that will cause you to perspire and sweat it out.
Exercise will work in your favor since it will work on your physique.
The urination may be uncomfortable, but it is good for cleaning out your system. The color of your urine also marks how your body is processing what's in your system.
That's why urologists will take samples of your urine to examine your health.
Getting back to your question though, if you can't stand going to the bathroom and prefer not to exercise more, you can always cut back on your intake.
Don't see having to pee so much as the bad side of drinking water. Consider that your freeing your body of all the toxins and crap that your body doesn't need. Keep drinking until your pee runs clear or light yellow if your taking a multi vitamin. Its great for you. Keep up the good work and make peeing "fun detox time!"
