Starving yourself. Maybe a religious ritual like the middle easterns(Arabs) do. They do it for a certain period of time but are allowed to drink liquids just not eat.
Fasting measn to not eat or drink, at all, for a certain length of time. For example, if i fast for 10 hours, i won't eat or drink for 10 hours.
If you stop eating, your body will consume your muscle because the less muscle you have, the lower your metabolism will be and the less food you will require to stay alive.
