I suppose he could, but I don't think he should. He would be very underweight if he did.

It's possible, but it's very unhealthy.
why would you want to
Absolutely.
1. Motivation: why are you doing it?

I lost alot of weight (90 pounds in 1 year) by simply cutting back on my:
portion sizes
Carbohydrates such as breads, sugars, pastas and rice
Then you have to:
Drink water & Exercise
Good luck!
Yes. I'm about your height and was 185 a year ago. I loss most of it within 7-months., at first is not easy, you have to make believe that you can do, avoid fat, carbs and the urge to eat junk food, that includes candy, fast food and soft drinks. If you drink, stop it. Is not healthy and does not help with your diet plan. THAT IS WAY TO MUCH WEIGHT TO LOSE. TRY CUTTING OUT THE CARBS AND BOOZE. EAT HIGH QUALITY PROTEIN AND LOTS OF VEGGIES. WALK, WALK, WALK. AND DESTRESS. YOU ONLY NEED TO LOSE 15 TO 20 POUNDS. GOOD LUCK DUDE.
Yes, it is possible. But I believe your weight is fine according to your height. If I were you, I would check my body fat percentage instead and forget about the scale.
I'm 6 ft and weight 175 lbs but my body fat is only 17% which means I look fit.
I agree with what the others have said. It's possible to lose that much within half a year, but only if you're truly obese and need to lose it. Only then through strict diet and exercise carefully watched by a fitness trainer or something, otherwise it could be dangerous. Based off of your height, I'd say that you are anything but obese, and are at just the right weight to be healty. If you were anything lighter, you'd be underweight, which REALLY isn't healthy. If you're just worried about the normal body fat that most people get due to inactivity, try exercising to tone your body. If you're worried about gaining weight, try to eat healthier, but don't go on diets that would make you lose weight. You're perfect the way you are, remember that! This site has everything you need to know. It is mostly NOT your fault, that you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) soon surpassing hunger and infectious disease. So you are a victim of this pandemic (epidemic).
You need to re-learn how to eat. Find out about fastest way to lose weight, slow ways to lose weight and anti-water. Learn everything on site below so you can understand how food and exercise affects your body. Do this and you can be thin. Do this not, and you will remain part of the biggest pandemic in all of history. Due to this pandemic, for the first time in 100 years, the children of Americans have a lower life expectancy than their parents.
