The other answers are wrong. Rice is not the only thing u eat on this diet. And the starches u are supposed to eat on this diet are supposed to be multi grain. Not like white rice or bread or straight potatoes. You are allowed to eat like red potatoes or corn or multi grain pastas and brown rice on this diet. I loved this diet. It has an average weight loss of 25 lbs per month, and drastically lowered my triglycerides and blood sugar. A lot of people think lots of carbs means you'll get diabetes but its the opposite with this diet b/c it lowers the level of insulin. Plus it gives u tons of energy and it is the easiest diet I have ever done that works. I lost 40 lbs the first MONTH. It was so easy for me b/c I am full all the time. Rice is not an acceptable or appropriate diet. White rice, in particular will make you fat and give you diabetes.
Contrary to popular belief people in oriental countries tend to eat alot of meat (especially pork) and fish. That is why they are thin.
that its no good cuz u get constipated alot and u feel sick fur 2 or 3 days and u will never want to eat rice again
