I hate diet, what do i do?

Answers:
The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:

*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). A website that explains this formula in more detail and will help you determine how many calories you need to reach or maintain a certain weight is at http://www.primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/library/weight/calsburned.htm

Get a diet and fitness calculator that you can put on your computer or cell phone. This will allow you to easily calculate the above formula, set goals, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.

Set realistic goals for your ideal body weight. Here are two websites that will calculate a suggested body weight:
Adults: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm
Teens/Children: http://www.kidshealth.org/kid/exercise/weight/bmi.html

It is difficult and unhealthy to lose more than one or two pounds per week. There are 3,500 calories in a pound. If you eat 500 fewer calories per day for a week you will lose one pound. If you burn through exercise 500 more calories per day for a week you will lose one pound.

*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.

Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:
http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsource/carbohydrates.html

Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Here is an excellent food pyramid that anyone can follow: http://www.rayandterry.com/html/images/PyramidLRG.gif?osCsid=26a424be471d1337e7c2f105d5c64d9d

*3) Exercise on most days by doing cardiovascular training and/or resistance training activities.

Read a book or find a certified trainer to make sure your doing all resistance training exercises correctly. A great book to buy that teaches you the resistance training basics is “Weight Training for Dummies”. A superb magazine to buy with resistance training routines that will not get you bored is "Muscle and Fitness". Signup for the free newsletter. An excellent free online resource is at http://www.exrx.net/

A good book to buy that teaches you the cardiovascular training basics is “Fitness for Dummies”.

*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.

*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A superb book to read is “You The Owner’s Manual”. An excellent periodic publication is the “Nutrition Action Health Letter”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com

Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier. Send me an email or yahoo instant message to "gainbetterhealth" if you want an indoor air purifier recommendation and if you have any questions.

don't diet but do watch what you eat and try to cut some calories by reducing the amount of fatty foods and sugary foods you eat....try getting more active, walking, swimming anything other then sitting...also try to build some muscle good luck
You need to find out WHY you hate "diets", and why you are gaining and keeping weight. I bet you have some health issues from the weight too. (fatgue, sleep issues, headaches, mood etc)

I volunteer for the Keeping America Healthy Campaign doing free personal nutrition and lifestyle evaluations. I would love to do one for you. You get a one on one evaluation and report, and if you want at the end we can set up a plan to meet your needs and goals. In some circumstances I can even offer you longer term weightloss counseling for free. Contact me at all4god@yahoo.com or 949-276-8293 to set up an appointment if you are interested.
Avoid foods that have lots of fats and carbohydrates in it. Take a little walk of few mintues each morning or evening
You dont want to diet and you cant loose weight. Still do this, and you can stay at your weight.

Stand straight and fall back on your hands and let your body arch-hang on your hands and legs. BUT...BEFORE THAT..... remember to place enough soft pillows behind you before falling back. Over a period you can do it without pillows. Dont strain for more than a minute , do it once a day and that is all.
It's all about portions and eating speed. My ex was awesome at this and I learned how to change my eating habits too, and I'm a guy whos a needle but can pig out? You know those guys that their stomach is a bottomless pit? Anyway I used to eat a 6 pack of tacos and a nacho supreme at Taco Bell when I was a little younger...just give you an idea how I can eat.

So what she did was eat ANYTHING that she wanted and that I would eat. She would do 2 things: 1. Give herself a reasonable (somewhere between medium and sm. size) serving of food. 2. Eat SLOWLY. (she also exercised everyday, but this worked for me without exercising everyday)

The thing is...it takes time for your stomach to send the message to your brain that you are full. If you are pigging out (like i like to do :) ) you could eat 3 plates by the time you get the message that you are full. And you not just full, but really full at that point (like i'm gonna take a nap full). If you would of eaten slowly (take ur time), the message to your brain that you were full could of came after your first plate.

so the difference is: full after 1 plate, or full after 3 plates? which do you choose?

I am an active 27 year old male that can EAT and yesterday I had hot dogs w/my parents and I ate 1 hot dog and like 5 lays chips and was full. They couldn't believe it, and I told then, "I told you I changed my eating habits!" Hope this helps, I'm not a doctor nor a nutritionalist, but this worked in my own experience, GOOD LUCK
well if you are fat , just try eating 3 meals a day (healthy Meals) and go an hour walking in the night.
and if your'e skinny and just paranoid like practically most girls ,
just STOP being obsessed and be happy with yourself, guys do not like skinny girls they like em curvy and nice so just eat healthily and exercise and youll be fine

I found this awesome product that actually worked for me. It has the most extensive workouts and nutrition guidelines that I have ever found. I have tried so many diets and exercise programs. This one is different because it combines fitness, nutrition and mind set training that also teaches you how to keep the weight off. You can do the workouts at home. There are are different workouts for each of the 90 days. It can be weight resistance, static stretching, dynamic stretching or a combination.
The nutrition guidelines teach you what to eat at the right time of day so that your body is in a constant state of high metabolism (even while you sleep.) There are no pills, potions, gimmicks to this. Is is all scientific based. It costs $199 for the entire system(worth 2 million in my mind)I lost 40 lbs of body fat in 2 months!!If you would like more information on where I got this product, email me at brynmarieb@yahoo.com
Excercise!! come jogging with me sometime...LOLLOL
Try a cleansing diet! I did and lost 10.5 pounds and 17 inches in only 9 days. I was very happy with the results and continued on the program and lost 25 pounds in 5 weeks. This is the fastest I have ever lost with other diets like Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Medifast, Slimfast etc…. Cleansing works by removing toxins from your body. You get toxins from your food (pesticides, preservatives, food additives, colorings) water, chemicals, pollution, medications, alcohol, hormones that the animals you eat were fed etc….YUCK! The toxins get coated with fat and remain in your body. To remove the fat, you have to remove the toxins. This system worked for me, maybe it can work for you too. You can check out the website or call this toll free number 1-877-587-4647 for more info. The program is not cheap, but it is worth every penny since it works and keeps you motivated. Good luck!
