Could swiming a lot replace normal exercises in losing weight and gaining some muscles ?

As for losing weight it has its downside.
The heating of regular exercise doesnt happen and so appetite suppression from the heating doesnt happen. In fact cold water stimulates appetite.
To build muscle first build capillary beds by lots of reps with light weights. After 3 weeks of that do 3 sets daily that you cannot do 10 reps of. Be sure to have adequate protein. You should bulk like crazy. Most people dont do capillary work and only get a small muscle gain then plateau.
