What is a good way to warm up prior to and cool down after doing some excercise like situps?

Question:
Let's say, something like fifty situps

Answers:
When doing any kind of excercise, it is important to always perform a warm-up and cool down to avoid injury. If you are only doing 50 situps, then you'd first want to get your heart rate up by doing an aerobic activity for 2 min (jump rope, run in place, etc.) and then perfrom some simple stretching excercises for the abdomen, obliques, and hip flexors. When cooling down, stretch out your entire body. This is for only doing 50 situps. When doing a full-body workout or aerobic workout, it gets more complicated.

Other Answers:
stretching
You should do some streching exercises before. And some after .
Try marching in place. Jumping jacks, jogging in place. Jump rope. Hoola Hoop. Dance. Anything that's gonna get your heart rate up.
What the F is up with people and situps? situps do jack crap and hurt your back more, why dont you rtry doing CRUNCHES and REVERSE CRUNCHES they might help better and if your trying to loose STOMACH FAT, doing situps wont help you there, all it does is increase muscle mass on your abs, to loose weight you need to reduce fat by increasing exercise, and controling calorie intake so you have just enough to do the exercise and protect health while simutaiuosly burning fat.
Believe it or not, some cayenne pepper tea. About 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper in cup of hot water, before and after your work out will keep you going without pain and give you more energy.
