I feel that it is better to eat fresh fruits and vegetables and nuts to lose weight. You get all the fresh nutrients of the whole fruits and vegetables. When fruits are dried you lose some Vitamin C. Dried fruits have a long shelf life though.

eat more veggies Some fruit has more natural sugar than others and so is higher in calories. A few are: grapes (raisins are dried grapes), watermelon, actually any of the melons (casaba, honeydew, cantaloupe), strawberries, bananas.
