how long would it take to lose 30-40 pounds?

i weigh 145 and want 2 lose 30-40 pounds by november.i am very athletic but can't seem 2 lose weight. help!

you again. Hiiiii, serious, a 20 minute jog or run 4 times a week. You want to work out on your stomach and your butt because they are not supported by a bone so more fat or flesh is at those places. I suggest joggong, your soccer playing, and sit ups, crunches, and maybe go to an aerobics class. Hope that helps I went from 225 down to 175 in a few months. I believe that one can lose 5 pounds a week easily with limited fatty foods and with exercise. I believe your goal is possible, although I'm not an expert, if you discipline yourself!
