I do 5 sets of 50. Dosent matter if you do 12 or 12,000.

I do 15, 15, 15 (chrunches squats and pushups) 3 times. So 3 sets of 15.
I do 5 sets of 25. I guess it depends on how much you can do. you want to work your muscles but you also don't want to kill yourself to the point where you run out of breath.
best advice i can give is 3 sets of 20-30, however do not stick to just a basic crunch, do some leg lifts, weighted crunch, oblique exercises, medicine ball, really mix it up, there are som many different abdominal exercises it would be crazy to stick with one. your abs are like any other muscle, stick with the same exact training all the time and results are likely to stop improving.
