Survey, have you used vinegar to treat acid indigestion and did it work ?

Question:

Answers:
Apple cider vinegar. It burns like a mother on the way down, then within a minute I was better. Strangely I have not had an episode of acid indigestion in weeks since I drank the vinegar,

Other Answers:
No but it's great for dyeing Easter eggs and masking feminine odors.

In a lab when you have something like an acid spill you use a base to neutralize the acid. You don't add more acid. Vinegar has an acid in it called acetic acid. Try using something to neutralize it, like baking soda. I have heard that vinegar is used to flush one's system, but not for heartburn. I think baking soda can be used for heartburn, and if it really is bad, maybe you should go to a doctor.

What are you syptoms? Before you try anything, get it checked, because you don't want to make it worse.

But again this is my opinion, and maybe someone else has more info about vinegar. Good luck with it.
