I am getting tendonitis in my right elbow.what is the best way to reduce inflamation?

when I had tendonitis in both my shoulders i would freeze dixie cups of water, half full and take them into the shower with me to massage the cold into my muscles. Physical therapy never helped. I think eventually what did help was taking some time without using those muscles. I got mine from swimming so after the season was over I would play soccer and after two years with tendonitis i went back to swim season and the pain was gone. So I think just the rest helped it.

before sleeping at night, wash your affected elbow with hot water and apply Iodex - try this for one or two nights.
ice packs , elavate it over your heart.. Mortin (Ibuprofen)use an elbow support (find it in a drugstore near the Ace band aides,but do not use when sleeping.can cut off the circulation) try not over use that elbow,unless you have to..it can get worse & even go up into your upper arm & shoulder.problem is most people favor that side..and over use the other one.making that a problem too.

Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming,running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions,pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull,leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)
