Appetite control advice during my period...serious answers only, please?
Question:
Not just hungry...I mean, as one friend words it, she "would eat sh*t on a stick if it was covered in chocolate." (gross, I know, but pretty darn accurate...LOL)
I do my best to stick to my points and eat healthy foods, but I just can't seem to stop eating at all! I exercise a bit more, drink plenty of water, and try to keep busy to keep my mind off food, but I am just hungry 24/7 during that one week.
Do any of you go through this too? How do you handle it?

Okay I realize that i do not have a period but i also was a corpsman in the Navy , and I am into nutrition , 2 of the best things to eat that will help you keep a full feeling are hot breakfast cereals(oatmeal,cream of wheat) and cottage cheese, both are what you need to maintain a good diet anyway, oatmeal (i prefer instant) will fill you and it is the proper carbs for burning fat and cottage cheese is full of protien, i add a little fruit preserve to mine or pineapple in its own juice not syrup! this will help and you won't fall off the diet wagon!

UGH! My wife experiences this too! She loves sweets, especially Root Beer Lolli-Pops. So, we found these Power-Pops with Hoodia. They are absolutely delicious and suppress appetite.
The way I try to keep my appetite under control is chew gum and drink water. Make sure to get the extra-long lasting flavor kind, so the flavor doesn't run out between meals. It helps me to stop snacking. Sounds like you're already drinking plenty of water. Just keep with it, and try to distract yourself. Try going on a hike or such where there's no snack bar or food except the snacks you pack yourself. Hope I helped some!
To stop the craving of a chocolate attack.. eat a mango.
Snacks can be twice a day.. and can be turkey and or vegetables.. dont starve yourself. Eat fresh fruit and have alot of it ready to be eaten..
get lots and lots of sugar free jello..make it in advance and eat eat eat. It has very low calories and is a 0 food. i am having this problem right now. i hogged out on the whole box last night it was great and i knew I wouldn't feel bad this morning...If the jello alone is not enough get a lite coolwhip to go on the top or freeze and eat as ice cream..yummy!!
