Is it okay to just drink 1 cup of water a day?

Question:
Like I usually drink just one cup of water a day or less .
Is that okay?

Answers:
No. You should have 6-8 to keep properly hydrated. One is not nearly enough. I jazz my water up with lemon, or limes and ice and a straw..goes down easier that way. Also try seltzer water, sometimes the bubbles help make it feel more like soda.

keep/get drinking

Other Answers:
It's fine. But be careful, coz your body won't function properly.

Water is good for you. You should be drinking more, especially now that it's summer. no

NO! u need at least 8 cup or more for a day.

try to get a case of bottled water
throw them in your fridge and grab one when you're thirsty
when you're headed out of the house
give them to your friends, kids
you will see a big improvement in how you feel and if you substitute water for soda you'll lose weight too

I usually drink a couple bottles of flavored water a day, but drink tea and coffee and oj and milk too. The doctor says as long as you are urinating at least every six hours you are doing ok, but be careful when exercising or out in the heat that you drink more. My husband RARELY drinks water and is fine. no you need to drink more water then that, for health reasons

Agreeing with everyone else - but I'll add - 6-8 is a minimum. but it should not be chlorinated water - chlorine acts like estrogen in the body - not in a good way. Adding Lemon does help to purify it if you have no choice. It is said that if you take your weight in pounds divided by 2 - that is the number of ounces of water you should drink each day.

its fine but you really should drink more water

its okay maybe in the winter time but i would drink more then that in summer you can get dehydrated easily. I agree. 6-8 cups aday. I should know, I got dehydrated last night and it took 2 large gatorades and a sierra mist to get me rehydrated.
