I am a Yoga Instructor. You need to do an entire yoga practice or routine, and slowly build up for results. Power yoga (fast Paced) will get your heart rate up, more like a cardio work-out-burning more calories-Yoga is designed to work all muscles thru the body. You get wonderful toning and and it helps with endurance for other forms of exercise. It lessens stress, gives more energy and helps with mental clarity too.
